Tembi, a film from the African jungle, Swedish Film Poster (1930)
TEMBI – Wildlife documentarian Cherry Kearton was a pioneer in capturing the beauty of the natural world, particularly in remote regions like the African interior. Through his books and films, he showcased the wonders of wildlife using innovative techniques. To get close to his subjects, he crafted extended tripods from sticks, concealed himself with vegetation, and even disguised himself in animal hides, allowing him to film animals in their natural habitats like few others of his time. Poster artwork by E. Dahlskog.
