Hilma af Klint (1862–1944) was a Swedish artist and pioneer of abstract art. Decades before Kandinsky and Mondrian, she created spiritually inspired, non-representational paintings filled with geometric shapes, symbols, and vibrant colors. Her groundbreaking work remained largely unknown until the late 20th century, gaining widespread recognition as a visionary force in modern art.
