"A Prince Arrived" (Swedish title: ”Det var en gång en prins, som var ute och red i månskenet”.) is an illustration by John Bauer (1882–1918), a Swedish artist famous for his depictions of Scandinavian folklore and fairy tales. This artwork is part of his series for the "Bland tomtar och troll" (Among Gnomes and Trolls), an annual fairy tale anthology published in Sweden.
